Paintless Dent Repair, also known as PDR, is a process that utilizes an assortment of tools on the backside of the panel to remove each dent individually. If dents are located in areas that cannot be accessed from the backside, we have tools to remove them from the dented side. Once they have been removed, they are gone and they do not come back.
PDR has been in existence since the 80s. It is the alternative to conventional body shop methods when a vehicle does not require repainting. It is recognized by insurance companies as a viable means to remove dents.
The cost of Paintless Dent Repair varies based on the size, depth and location of the dent(s), whether the dented panel is steel, aluminum or high-strength steel, and what needs to be done to access the back of the dent. If there are multiple dents on a panel, then the price is based on the panel and not per individual dent.
DENTconnection™ offers free estimates. Many times, pictures forwarded via the website, text or email can help to determine if the damage is a candidate for PDR, and if so, the approximate cost for repair. Other times, it is necessary to schedule an appointment to see the vehicle in person to confirm because sometimes the pictures cannot adequately show the damage.
